She has been an educator for an interfacing company, a department store buyer, and has conducted seminars throughout North America and Australia. An oldie but great! The illustrations are a bit dated but the information is top notch! Get this before you select a serger so you know what to look for (even if from a library), then read it to find out what you can do with it! Pati Palmer can teach you more than how to fit clothing! I don't give 5 stars out lightly.
