This is a fairly fundamental book about the formation of Roxy Music. There wasn't really anything that I hadn't read before in more thorough books, but it wasn't a bad read. It was published before the album "Avalon" came out, which many consider to be their most complete and artful album. I suspect the authors would have been effusive in their praise of that album. I did enjoy a quote that I hadn't seen before. It was from John Peel, the famed BBC radio presenter and music journalist. He said that Bryan Ferry sings like "some crazy, ruined angel." I liked that very much.
