Sometimes we read a good book and in our enthusiasm to tell others about it, we describe it as short. Why? We're trying to set a hook into their fast food, fifteen second sound byte, Tweet induced world and then reel them in by telling them how good the book is. We do this without ill intent. We do it because it's the world we live in.
Freedom from Fear makes one introspect. Fast read and introspect go together like Microsoft goes together with Google. In other words they don't.
Mark tells a simple story, a simple parable where personal effectiveness meets doing the right thing meets caring for and nurturing others along.
Read the book, follow the prompts and answer the questions. Think about what you are reading and allow time for your personal truth to work its way to the surface.
