Ellie Solomon has always been sort of a loner. Between her brother (who is the only family she has left) and a few friends (that are more his friends than hers) she lives a boring life. The one person she confides in is her Guardian Angel who visits her dreams. He is her best friend, too bad he's not real. When strange wolves with red eyes begin chasing her one evening, a

Generations Review on K-Books
When I first heard Mia was writing a paranormal series I instantly couldn't wait to read it. I read her short story The Ocean months ago for the blog tour of it and loved it. I fell in love with her writing and her characters so I couldn't wait to get my hands on her next piece of work. I have to say I never thought I would like this book more than The Ocean because I loved The Ocean so much and didn't think anything else could compare. I was so wrong. I think this i ...more

Mia Castel’s concept for the Generation series is unique and inspirational. She has broken out of the paranormal usuals by taking away the focus from the vampires and werewolves and she created The Generations.
Mia did a great job building a foundation for the upcoming two books in the series. In this book we learn mostly about the characters, their backstory, and we experience a hint of upcoming danger.
The main character’s –Ellie– main focus is building a stable home for her family of two — Elli ...more

Gideon and Ellie Solomon are survivors. Living on their own and trying to make an living while going to school is tough enough. Thank god for the other members of their Generation; they'd be lost without Moriah, Selah, Zeek and Ben.
The characters of Generations seem to think along the same wavelength. They mostly always agreed and the only two who argued were Ben and Zeke. Some scenes seemed to end without readers seeing the depth of how a character was affected. (view spoiler) ...more

Mia Castile’s story is the start of a whole new paradigm in the worlds of fantasy and paranormal.
‘Generations’ is an exciting new concept to me, angel-like creatures that are human, yet have heavenly powers. Being human, they have free will, and are apt to make mistakes like the rest of us.
They band together every generation to try to defeat the Noctem, while at the same time trying to avoid being swayed to the dark side themselves.

Excuse me while I curl up in a ball and cry while waiting for the release of Generations Book 2! Mia Castile just gets better and better with every book. I loved this story! When I first saw the cover all I kept thinking was "Oh great another wolf/ shape shifter now". Oh how wrong I was! It has a love st

This is a story about a girl, named Mia. She grew up in suburb of medium sized city. There were cold winters, and hot sticky summers. Mia’s favorite seasons were spring and fall. She enjoyed the mild seasons, but also loved the vibrant colors each possessed.
