Lettura molto interessante per andare ad approfondire la questione dell’originaria policromia della statuaria antica, sia tramite analisi scientifiche sia tramite maquette ricostruttive qui ampiamente presenti. Inoltre, suggerisce aspetti meno noti anche per quanto riguarda i materiali e le tecniche impiegate in antichità.
