Did not help me at all.
Also, unless you think your cat is psychic, probably not for you either.

this has a whole chapter about traveling with your kitty, and since we plan to do just that in a few weeks, it was a good pick. i liked the format of questions and answers-- made it really easy to read-- but wished there had been more pictures. i like lots of pictures in my non-fiction. and, ok, i love my cat dearly, but the author has a really gushy tone that is kind of fruity. but we'll see how this traveling advice works.

I really wish I could recommend this book, but I cannot.

1. As in her earlier book, Ms Wilbourn states it is safe to give cat cooked chicken necks and backs.

2. In her discussion (such as it is) on declawing - no mention is made of this being a major surgery with crippling results.

Her nonmedical anecdotes about cats are interesting, and might help some people understand things from a feline perspective, but do not justify anyone’s following her medical views.

This is the kind of book that makes me have nightmares about girls with kitten and horse calendars on their walls. There is something scary about it that I can't put my finger on, despite my own deep affection for felines. This book by a true-blue cat woman, was however--if nothing else, incredibly helpful as a crash course to dealing with my adopted 1 year old kitten.f

An awesome guide especially for those wanting to add a cat to their home.
Although I don't recommend that this book be your only kitty Bible because you will want to know about conflicting views found in other books as well !
