This is a valuable resource examining the various aspects of pornography and the harms caused by pornography. It is a bit academic for my tastes, with little accessible content for application of the theoretical critiques described, but I do believe that advocates and activists can still find some value to this text.
i read this book as part of my more than a decade research in to cyber sexuality, which still continues. as i was exposed to sexuality and its relation with internet, this book was a natural choice for me. pornography is just close to your doorsteps. just a click away. just a look away. just a touch away. just a moment away. alas what happens to people if this easy exposure to pornographic materials are increasing, it is an interesting question being raised in the book. everyday pornography is t ...more
