Robert Rootes: spent the 1990's buying and selling easy-bake-ovens in Minneapolis, MN. He spoke at an international conference about creating marketing channels for toy soldiers to patrol and protect farmers from alien invasions. From 2001-2008, Robert trained an elite squadron of paratrooper seagulls in Orlando, FL. to combat the growing pollution. He earned praise for implementing karma in Edison, NJ. Then, Robert ambitiously took a year off promoting scuba diving puppets in Anchorage, AK. After testing the market for frisbees in Suffolk, NY, he joined a covert team of highly trained geckos to rescue animals from roving circuses. 2010-2011, Robert became a scribe and learned self-efficacy through transcribing new stories on parchment made from the strips of dried skin peeled from the backs of plagiarizers.
As an accomplished author of fifteen novels and counting, including Soul Takers, Soul Takers: Soul Mates, Stranger Beside Me, Lycanthrope Moon, The Pool, Lilith: Dark Angel, and Preternatural Gifts. Robert holds a BA in English Literature and an AAS from the University of Alaska. After 15 years in Alaska, he and his family now reside in a land of confusion and taxes. Robert continues to write, freelance, and is an artist. You can find his books on Amazon and at other fine booksellers. You can find him on Facebook and other social media. He likes to know people are reading his stuff and encourages you to seek him out!
I read this book when he was on death row and I remember when he finally died, no-one was outside the prison protesting the death penalty. He was a monster. I have read many Ann Rule books and they are all very good.
