This small book gave a great historical look at Voodoo in Haiti. Would recommend it to anyone curious about other cultures and trying to get past stereotypes about this religion.
This is a nice little introductory book about the topic of Vodou. There are amazing illustrations of ritual art, flags, veves, and the like. I recommend it for any serious Vodou library.
Although it's not a perfect account, this is probably THE best introduction to the subject available. As far as photos go, it is the next best thing to Sacred Arts of Haitian Vodou available as yet.
This book is short but full of good information and beautiful images. I felt that it was oddly organized and, at times, lacking in detail (i.e. a rather vague mention of werewolves that left me wondering...). I did thoroughly appreciate the collection of documents at the end.
