Journey of the Soul #2
Soul's Perfection
At many times keeping our lives in perspective is difficult for anyone, but it is especially hard around the holidays. We become overwhelmed and forget what really matters. What should be a time of celebration and reflection turns into a time of stress that has little to do with spirituality. Now, world-renowned psychic Sylvia Browne has put together a beautiful inspirational book to help readers get into the spirit of the holidays by reminding them of the joy and love that surrounds us in the Afterlife. With chapters on Forgiveness, Celebrations and Anniversaries, Family, and Life's Purpose, among others, Sylvia Browne tells uplifting stories of those people she has helped and imparts the indelible lessons of the Other Side that can make our life here on Earth happier, healthier, and more spiritually fulfilling.

About the author
Sylvia Browne
242 books599 followersSylvia Browne was an American author and self-proclaimed psychic who built a lucrative career through books, television appearances, and psychic readings. Known for her frequent guest spots on The Montel Williams Show and Larry King Live, she claimed to communicate with angels, spirit guides, and the deceased, and said she had psychic visions from the age of three. In 1986, she founded the Society of Novus Spiritus, a Gnostic Christian church, and ran a variety of businesses, reportedly earning millions annually.
Browne wrote over 40 books, many of which were bestsellers, and maintained a dedicated fanbase throughout her life. However, her career was marked by controversy. She made numerous high-profile predictions about missing persons and criminal cases that were later proven false—errors that drew widespread criticism and scrutiny from skeptics and media outlets. A 2010 study by the Skeptical Inquirer concluded she had not been accurate in any verifiable case. Her reputation suffered further after her 1992 conviction for securities fraud.
Despite criticism from figures like James Randi and John Oliver, Browne retained a devoted following. Her vague prediction about a “pneumonia-like illness” spreading around 2020 drew renewed attention during the COVID-19 pandemic. She remained a polarizing figure—revered by some, discredited by others—until her death in 2013 at the age of 77.

Sylvia Browne is one of my favorite authors. In this book, she outlines the tenets of the Gnostic religion and explains reincarnation and some of its implications. She also includes several meditations. I enjoyed reading this book. She writes in a style that seems like she is in the room, talking to me.

I love this book for the wisdom it shares and the style of writing. I found this book hard to put down. I gain such insight from books like this but this one seemed to answer questions I had.. Love synchronicity! Enjoy this book and do not be deceived by its easy to read format... Great truth here!

Perfect book
Perfect book and reading this after the passing of Sylvia was a great author. This book has prayers, soul questions and things about her agnostic church she opened years ago. Very fitting and help improvement If you need to rethink how you act.

A book I’ll bring out now and then to help remind myself of my priorities. There are a few places in the book that don’t resonate or about which I have questions but overall this is a great reminder of what matters most to me.

I'm currently reading this book, and let me tell you that I feel so much better about everything that has happened to me good and especially bad or heart breaking because Sylvia just has this way of explaining the why and how of the world and the other side. I love it. I get so enthralled in the book at work which isn't good because it's hard to read and take care of the residents lol. It's a great book so far. I have one chapter left. I will defintly read more of her books!
Read
July 27, 2011I "read" it and liked it. There were some definite points that really touched me. However, I did find myself skimming some of the sections because I just couldn't focus enough to understand what she was trying to say. Going to go get the 1st book in the series (didn't know it was #2 until I had already started reading).
