This book is all about the life of the elephant seals in the Pacific Ocean that live on an island called Ano Nuevo. This book covers the growth cycle of the pups, and other facts, until the males become bulls, and participate in the cycle of life.

Paul says he liked it but doesn't know why. He actually gave it five stars. I disagreed. Be forewarned that a child's easy reader gets very graphic when the seals mate.
