Weiss has advice different from the old buy-and-hold method of investing, with new twists based on the expectation of stock market declines. He discusses inverse ETFs, currencies, gold, dividend-paying stocks, etc. Weiss has a rating service that is much more accurate than the larger well-known ones who seem to rate everything AAA until the day they are bankrupt (as in 2008). He also rates banks--a useful service since the gov doesn't tell us which banks they are about the close.

Weiss has a good head on his shoulders. Solid advice here for making gains during economic turbulence. Occasionally the details bog down the reading, but you'll need a lot more detail than this to really make confident decisions about where to put your money. The universal advice is this: now is not a time to play around. Pay down debt, reduce risk exposure, improve job security and income, then build up cash.
