Nice small stories for children and adults of all ages. Dreamy but realistic pictures of south african landscapes and animals.

I picked up this book expecting it to be folklore. It is not, but the original stories of personified animals have charm nonetheless, and they give the reader a feeling of southern African natural history. The illustrations by Voigt are excellent.
