Fonnie Beachum was happily celebrating the marriage of her daughter. Fonnie was delighted that her divorced daughter had found a wonderful man, a widower. The wedding reception was still going strong even though the bride and groom had left on their honeymoon when one of the groomsmen, a prominent attorney collapsed and died. Unfortunately, it turned out to be murder and the wedding guests had to extend their stay at the seaside motel until the local police had checked them out. Things got even worse when another of the wedding guests, a vivacious young woman, went missing. Who would be next???

I enjoyed this quick mystery. It was fast moving and not too predictable. I was able to figure out some of the mystery, but the actual murderer fooled me till the end. I notice there are more mysteries by this author which I may look for in the library. Fonnie, the main character, was very likeable and appears to be the thread that holds the series together.
