I love these books about small art towns. I read about them and want to visit and live there. This latest edition (2005) ranks the towns, and includes lists of of populations between 30,000-100,000 and smaller art towns of populations below 30,000. It includes several towns that were in the last book with updated information and quite a few new ones. Colorado boasts the most towns with 9 listed, and California comes in second with 8. Pretty interesting and informational book about art towns across US and Canada. I think the author did a really good job with his research. I made a note of some of the towns that stood out to me, and hopefully I will be able to visit them in person some time.

Great book for the art explorer who's looking a place to travel to next!
