I am addicted to carbohydrate as an Italian, but I think that eating several time during the day – unless you suffer from hypoglycemia – is more a question of mental habit. I tried this diet and freeing the meal (free quantity) I managed to eat only three times a day, but I didn’t lose any weight. I think it works for morbid obese people but with not many pounds to lose you don’t see many results. I have to say that you save a lot of time eating just three times a day and organizing the meals in advance.
I read and followed her first Carbohydrate Addict's Diet book. I have to say this is the only diet where I didn't feel deprived and still dropped pounds. Also I stayed on this one the longest: 2 months. That's like a decade in Carla-years.
