I'm not an idiot - but why does this book make me feel like I'm not learning right? It seems like the only way of learning here is by memorizing vocabulary words - and I need more. I have learned several other languages - I want to know personal pronouns, conjugate verbs and learn the structure of the language - not just memorizing words and what they look like. I need something more meaty!

There are bits in the CD that goes with the book that are not even in the book. YMMV

I did not find this useful at all. It was just nouns on flashcards with a few exercises. It's also only reading without any speaking or listening. I'm going to try a different method.
