A night of forbidden desire with a society maiden produces a son for a half breed security guard. The guard does not know he has a son until the mother and son are kidnapped. He uses his Native American instincts to locate the kidnappers and rescue the mother and son. He also brings the bad guys to justice and marries the mother of his child. Good book.

Loved the story of Holly and Night! I do recommend reading Cheyenne and the probably the other historical books first! Because I did, much of the story of Night and his heritage and even Lillian's leap made so much more sense.

My only complaint is I wish The publishers would list all the books in the series at the beginning of each book. I got a bit out of order and though they are still happening at the same time for the most part - it probably would be better to read in order -- Next time!

USA Today Bestselling and award-winning author Rita Herron fell in love with books at the ripe age of eight when she read her first Trixie Belden mystery. Although she wanted to be a writer then and actually scrawled her first novel at age twelve, she didn’t think real people grew up to be writers, so she became a kindergarten teacher instead. Ten years ago, she traded her classroom storytelling a ...more
