While not completely worthless, it's definitely not a good way to start learning Greek. There are just a bunch of phrases read to you one time with space to repeat them, probably only once or twice. Trying to memorize a ton of phrases with only one go is a complete non-starter.

I do see this being valuable to someone who has already learned a good bit of Greek and wants a refresher.

But the title of this work sets the listener up to believe they'll learn enough Greek in one hour to get around. Not even close. If you could pick up ten phrases and reproduce them at appropriate times based on this material alone, without going through it multiple times, I'd be surprised.

Not a very effective book. I found other books such as Collins 40 Minute Greek much easier as it was better structured and repeated the Greek words with enough pauses

Best listened to several times, on slow speed. This audiobook is a short smattering of phrases involved in greetings, clothes shopping, numbers, taxis, police or medical emergencies, etc.
