I was looking for traditional origami projects, like those I did as a child, to practice so that when my child is old enough I can teach him. But this book contained none of those. There was a lot of cutting and taping/gluing, odd paper sizes, etc. — nothing you could really do with just origami paper. Origami aside, I was open to doing some other paper-based crafts, but I just wasn't interested in anything in this book.

This is only book I have found that has taught me the basic folds in a manner that didnt leave me pulling out my hair!

Some of the projects are dated and I would not make, but the christmas bead ornaments come out beautiful.

The author's purpose was to teach us how to do some origami. The pictures were good and the instructions were pretty clear.
