With over a million words in print, PATRICK THOMAS keeps busy writing the the popular fantasy humor series Murphy's Lore (which includes 8 books- Tales From Bulfinche's Pub, Fools' Day, Through The Drinking Glass, Shadow Of The Wolf, Redemption Road, Bartender Of The Gods, Nightcaps and Empty Graves) as well as the After Hours spin offs Fairy With A Gun, Dead To Rites and Lore & Dysorder. A cute, humorous little read that will take you away from your everyday troubles and shine the light on other's troubles. Not to mention, Cthulhu's priceless advice to those in need of his ancient wisdom. Definitely recommend.

To My Dearest Lord Cthulhu,

I do so love the advice you give and truly hope others will take the time to read your advice. It is truly foolish for others to ignore your great wisdom or to belittle it’s power. I admire your restraint for not devouring the mortals who have not purchased your book. I found the kindle edition to be most delightful with its portable nature. It allowed me to end and begin days with your most glorious wisdom.

Your dry humor may throw some of the human herd off. I feel, however, that this second book of advice you have so graciously published for those of us who are not regular followers is most wonderful and I recommend it. Readers who are not accustom to your nature may be taken back your frank tone. I suggest that they download the sample of the kindle version , if they are nervous.

This is a quick read. I did not laugh out loud often but it was amusing enough to keep my attention. Admitedly it has been many years since I have read about the dark lord but I was expecting more shocking advice to be coming from Cthulhu. A lot of advice was repeated such as "Cthulhu is not a lawyer" and that human's should not kill humans only Cthulhu has that right. Maybe repeating yourself comes with an advice colum? Aside from the encourgement to lie and cheat, some of the time Cthulhu seemed to give good advice which seemed odd. I thought he was evil incarnate. I suppose evil does not always look evil. All in all a cute book for those of us with a twisted sense of humor.
