Tre stelle e mezzo di pieno piacere.All'inizio mi stavo per abbattere nella scelta ed acquisto di qeusto libro, credendolo una di quelle buche che capitano ogni tanto di passaggio ma poi mi sono ricreduta...
La storia non è chissà quale scalpore e i personaggi possono essere facilmente paragonati ad altri di altri racconti o di altri H ma nonostante queste banali somiglianze Marcus e Catherine sanno farsi valere con la loro indomita presenza. Non è un racconto di molte pretese ma uno che sa farsi amare ed apprezzare come piacevole intermezzo tra due libri corposi, come una sorta di ponticello paradisiaco tra due purgatori ancora da gestire. Quindi carino si e nel modo giusto!!! ^_-

Well researched for 1685 politics and figures, but...this would have been better had the author not gone out of her way to make the heroine "strong" - by making her argumentative and kind of rude sometimes to Marcus, the male lead. This book had two brief love scenes, so if you want more of that sort of thing you may well be disappointed. Overall, enjoyable and glad to have it in my collection.

March 16, 2026Questo è uno di quei romanzi che potrei finire solo se fossi in vacanza con i libri contati o lo avessi in borsa mentre sono in attesa dal medico. Nel senso che come riempitivo può anche andar bene, ma la protagonista è così insulsa e la trama così fiacca da far perdere il gusto per la lettura.
