Fantasizing has always been an important part of Donna's life. While growing up in a small Ohio town, she and her friends played make-believe for hours on end, spinning the most fantastic scenarios, all rich in relationship drama. (They were mostly based on fairy tales and her mom's favorite soap operas.)

But in her teenage years, when her friends outgrew their "let's pretend" games, Donna still craved…something. So at 18, she set out for parts unknown, living in a half-dozen states, working diverse jobs, trying her hand at skydiving, whitewater rafting, motorcycling and tea-leaves reading. She realized the most intriguing element of her journey was the characters she met along the way.

After working at occupations ranging from commercial shrimper to cocktail waitress to financial aid director of an art college, Donna finally found the drama she craves — writing novels.

Happily married to an avid "junkee" — owner of a junk, antiques and collectibles business — she has two teenage sons and two older stepsons with lovely little families of their own. Donna lives in a log cabin in northeast Georgia where she writes for the Harlequin Temptation, Harlequin Superromance and Harlequin Blaze lines. Her novels have won her several prestigious awards…and many blissful hours fantasizing.

I've read similar books to this and I usually think they are okay, this one however was a lot better than most. When the Heroine meets the Hero, he is her ex-boyfriends twin brother, they find themselves in a very compromising situation considering she was making love with the wrong man. She thought she wanted the Hero's brother Evan but in this book she finds out she wants to Hero, Jake.

It was kind of cute, reading as they explored their feelings for each other. It was pretty well written but I don't think I'd personally read it again.

Great romance...if you like romance featuring twin mix up. Brianna has started dating Evan who she has known for many years. She also knows his twin Jake who she really can't stand. Although Evan and her have been dating they have not been intimate with each other. She just does not feel a sexual attraction to him and she does not know why. Evan goes away on a business trip and Brianna decides that when he comes back that is when she will make the big step in the physical side of their relationship. Little does she know that Jake is the one returning to town and not Evan. She goes to Evan's townhouse dressed super sexy and rings the door bell. Jake answers the door but Brianna has no idea that it is not Evan. Jake answers the door in a towel just coming out of the shower. She takes one look and is amazed at the attraction she feels towards him, since she has never felt that way about Evan but not knowing it actually Jake. By the end of the steamy night they have she finally finds out that it is Jake that is rocking her world instead of Evan and she wants to kill Jake. It is really a fun romance. A great fun read!

T655 Oct99 "Wrong Bed" Brianna Devon plans a surprise for Evan Rowland, an intimate one. The surprise is on her when she discovers the twin she's in bed with is Jake! He's teased and tormented her all through school and made her high school years a torture. Jack's returned, at his father's request, to save the family business. Evan has overextended the company and one of his hires has manipulated accounts and disappeared with millions.

It's a romance novel, enough said...

But for those who need more information, it has some pretty, erm, heavily laden scenes. What I liked the most about it is the fact that outside of the steam and romance-novel-ness it has an okay plot. That is what I require out of my throw away novels :p
