I love these books. You can get them inexpensively at most discount places and there's a wide variety of topics. The one thing I didn't like about this is that "tween" to them means basically toddler-through-13, so there's a few early chapters about bed wetting and things for much younger children. Once you get past those though, there are a wealth of ideas just waiting to be tried. Not every tip will fit every situation, but there's something for everyone in here. Even if you're the world's best parent, it's worth checking out just to get some ideas on parenting in general. Definitely worth your time.

This book purports to be a collection of "52 brilliant ideas" for parents. The idea is that you pick it up and read one or two ideas, and maybe they'll work for you. In reality, I think this is a cover for a terrible editing job. Why does a book about parenting pre-teens include a chapter about potty-training? Don't waste your time with this one.
