Dr Sabry Abdel Fattah is a highly experienced consultant psychiatrist who has been living in the United Kingdom since 1990. After graduating from medical school in Cairo, he underwent rigorous training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and group therapy before enrolling in post-graduate studies in psychiatry at the University of London, where he qualified with an M.Sc. Neuroscience degree. In 1995, he joined the Department of Psychiatry at Edinburgh University as a Research Fellow and contributed to numerous scientific publications during his time there. With more than four decades of experience both within the UK and overseas, Dr. Abdel Fattah also has extensive knowledge and interest outside of psychiatry; including computer programming, scientific writing, philosophy, arts, literature, and history.
