A secret room, time travel, and pirates? That'll work! Squirt and I both enjoyed it. And the rhyming was very well done - sometimes in these kind of books, it's clunky and stuttery, but Solomon made it flow easy. (I had no idea Evan Solomon wrote kid's books - I've seen his work as a political commentator, so this was a surprise.)
