When the zombie apocalypse occurs, you'll want to find her because she's a crack shot, and promises to take out those nasty decomposing flesh-eating vermin before they have a chance to make you their snack. Her favorite aunt gave Trina a sultry romance novel to read while they were on vacation together back when Trina was in middle school and made her promise not to tell her mother. She's been hooked ever since! Her choices in reading and writing material are as diverse as her Apple Music library, which contains music from Mozart to Metallica. Her one concession is all stories must have a happily ever after ending-did we mention she's incurably romantic? She's the mother of a very strong-willed and sweet little boy who frequently makes her smile and grimace within seconds of each other. She firmly believes that the sweetness comes from her, and the other part is her husband's fault. She loves to hear from readers, and her greatest wish is that we all strive to achieve bigger dreams.

I wanted to like this one much more than I ended up actually doing.
Niall ( a very very successful photographer) has always known he will end up with two partners and even dreams of how they will look.
He meets Matt ( a physiatrist) at a health fair and soon they discover they both want the same things = a ménage relationship.
This is where I first got annoyed within the first two conversations these men had ( they are both in their mid to late thirties) Matt immediate jumps to conclusions and acts pretty immature.
I was totally annoyed, this guy councils people for a living, yet when Niall says he photographs abuse victims..his reaction is to jump all over him for profiting from others trauma?! look buddy, it's not like anybody is tying these people up and making them model, and second he doesn't actually make money off it.
Ok, then when his 'soul mate' finally calls, Niall's first word is 'shit' because he was expecting a different call?! WTF?
and of course, Matt the mature, hangs up!
Fortunate that does get better, then Matt meets Trevor, little cute 'Cinderella'.
He was independent and wanted to be treated as an adult ( he's 28', so yes, he has managed to actually have a career and take care of himself, even if others seem to think he's 12) but he acts inconsistent.
Side note, I totally understood him being upset at being told he 'had done well for himself' by hooking up with a very wealthy guy, even if jumping out a car and walking is childish, his annoyance was justified , IMO!
And when his friend calls him a slutty runt at the table, it's all in fun?! Well, I guess, I just didn't like How he was treated.
Everyone is always trying to 'take care' of him, but whatever, anyway, Trevor is abducted, because yes, we need a creepy stalker in this book, but at least Trevor gets himself out of it, and isn't the damsel in distress all the way!
I also found these guys very ..talkative, real deep thinkers and introspective of themselves and their feelings, it was a bit unusual, and despite that, I didn't feel the connection or the love between these guys, and sometimes it just made me want to laugh, I mean I know some people might talk like this during sex, but it did nothing for me!
“I know, love. I can see you. Your back is gleaming with sweat, your body opening to accept mine. I see. I see everything you are, everything you have been, everything you will become.”
Excerpt From: Lane, Trina. “Simply Perfection.”
I didn't really like the MCs or care or believe in their relationship, even though I really wanted to, I want another really good m/m/m story!!
This is part of a series and although the couples from the other books are very much in this story, including a m/m/f constellation , I read it as a stand alone and that worked fine for me.

Simply Perfection was a really good read for me from a ménage relationship perspective. Instead of the more traditional form of ménage where an existing couple find their third, this story has the three men finding each other within a few days, meaning all members of the relationship start out on equal, and equally uncertain, footing. Trina manages this mine field well, keeping each character's perspectives and opinions genuine throughout, while also managing to make all three men connect both emotionally and physically.
Trevor is a man with a secret admirer, even if he himself isn't quite aware of it. Usually found with his head buried in technical or sound equipment, Trevor is a wonderful, side-tracked package as far from self-occupied as one can get. Trevor is a man who likes the light touch of control during intimacy, but just hasn't had much luck in the past. Just about to give up, fate steps in with two men who are well equipped to understand and provide for his every need.
Niall is a photographer, bringing to his craft a passionate and focused energy which carries across to his personality and interactions, but does not host a possessive edge. Niall was a very interesting character for me, with his Mohegan heritage bringing on the knowledge and dreams of future mates. His self possession and smooth control finish this suave character.
Matt is a psychiatrist treating Logan. His calm approach to life, and solid ideas on relationships and where he would like them to lead, form a large part of the direction these men take. Both Niall and Trevor recognise the inner knowledge Matt can't help but have due to his job, and the uncertainty and doubts this knowledge can harbour. Outwardly strong, inwardly uncertain, Matt was the character that stole my heart.
It is very easy to get caught up in the lives of these three men, as emphasis is taken away from locations in this novel and replaced with a focus on the characters and their interactions. This in no way reduces the impact of this story, as characters and dialogue move smoothly along. In places, I found myself smiling, laughing, crying and yelling right along with, and at, these men.
As they battle it out both verbally and mentally with both each other and within themselves, circumstances had me sitting on the edge of my seat trying to speed read, needing to find out if one or all will run scared, or if they will all have their happy ever after. Written in a contemporary style, I would recommend this story for anyone who enjoys all male ménage, other stories by Trina Lane or in the Perfect Love series, stories with current settings, stories with a touch of the unusual or suspense. This is the fourth book in the Perfect Love series and although I've only read one of the previous books I didn't have a problem following the thread of the stories. In this installment we first meet Niall, an accomplished photographer of Native American descent who's been searching for the two men who will complete him. Raised by his grandmother and two grandfathers he's known since a young age that his destiny lies with two men. We're then introduced to Matt, a dedicated doctor also looking for a menage and Trevor, a hard-working crime lab tech who leads a pretty solitary life. The men are very different, from their backgrounds to their personalities and life experiences, but when they meet an almost instant connection forms. When someone begins to threaten one of them they, along with their friends, will have to work together to figure out where the danger is coming from before their triad is broken forever.
The main characters are likable and despite their differences I felt they connected well. Their interactions both with each other and their friends are interesting and I was engaged throughout the story. I liked the way the author introduced Niall, Matt and Trevor separately before they came together. It was nice to see them as individuals before they became a triad.
Although I liked this story very much I also felt that the beginning of the relationship between the three men developed too quickly. Niall and Matt had both been looking for a menage relationship but Trevor had never thought of such a thing and his quick and easy acceptance of it felt to me a bit strange at first. That said he does question it and his feelings later on as the story progressed which felt more in character for him.The soul mates/insta-love angle works better for me in a Paranormal setting but as time passed and their connection deepened it was easy to let that go and simply enjoy their relationship.
The stalker plot worked well in two ways. First, it was useful in highlighting the bond and friendship between the men and their friends. This is the part where having read all of the previous books would have been nice. Although it wasn't too difficult to follow the thread between the stories I'm sure it would be easier having read them all. What I most liked about the stalker plot though was how Trevor dealt with it. It would have been easy to have Niall and Matt, both physically bigger and stronger than Trevor, come to the rescue of the smaller man but Ms. Lane fortunately didn't take the easy route which made for a much more satisfying conclusion.
Overall I really enjoyed reading Simply Perfection. It's well-written, entertaining, sexy and sweet. The story moves along at a nice pace and the action/suspense scenes flowed well. Fans of the author and this series are sure to enjoy this installment. If you’ve not read the previous stories I suggest reading them in order if possible for maximum enjoyment although I must advise that the first story is a M/F/M menage. Books two and three are M/M and book six in the series will be M/M/F.

Simply Perfection by Trina Lane is the fourth book in the Perfect Love series. The ménage relationship with photographer Niall Roberge, psychiatrist Matt Lincoln, and crime lab tech Trevor Mitchell is unique and provides added interest for readers of this wonderful series.
Matt and Niall feel an immediate connection as soon as they meet and eagerly set up their first date. Both men admit they are ultimately looking for a ménage relationship, and when Matt meets Trevor a few days later and feels the same immediate connection to him that he had for Niall, he asks Trevor out on a date. Matt introduces Trevor to Niall, and while Trevor has not been part of a threesome in the past, he is open to exploring a ménage relationship.
Matt, Niall, and Trevor are three dimensional and realistic protagonists. The overall plot of the novel is sound, and it moves at a brisk pace, but there are quite a few editing errors. The stalker storyline is well executed, and provides tension in an otherwise conflict free novel. The camaraderie between characters from past and present novels is one of Simply Perfection’s strengths and significantly adds to its appeal.
The relationship between Matt, Niall, and Trevor seemed to develop rather quickly. The novel fast forwards three months into their relationship which helps to diffuse the “insta-love” vibe. Trevor’s easy acceptance of a ménage relationship was rather surprising considering he had never been involved in a threesome before. He does eventually question his feelings for the situation which helped lend credibility to his character and the relationship.
Simply Perfection by Trina Lane is an enjoyable and compelling read. An unexpected twist on the ménage storyline along with diverse characters keeps the Perfect Love series fresh and interesting. Fans of this series will be delighted with this latest installment.

So Niall has always known he'll be in a menage relationship, especially given he was raised by his TWO grandpas and grandma. He is aboriginal (part) and prayed to get a vision of his mates. It finally happens, and at a health fair he sees psychiatrist Matt, and knows he's one of the men. At first he's a bit freaked to tell Matt that he expects to live in a threesome and this is all soul-mates destiny, but lo and behold, Matt was afraid to tell him he wants a threesome. Happy happy, now they just have to find the little blue-eyed blond from the dream. When Matt goes to the hospital to help one of his patients, he sees Trevor, a little blue-eyed blond. Trevor instantly feels the connection and even when introduced to Niall and the concept, goes along with it, but is very independent and refuses to admit it's more than just sex, however when a stalker shows up (sorry Chris), he finally admits he loves them, and then of course all their friends have to band together to find him when the stalker kidnaps him. This seemed a bit new agey to me. These guys talk and talk and talk, and most of the time, are completely in tune with their feelings and emotions and destiny. It's totally easy, they find each other within a week, they all think it's the greatest thing ever, and except for the stalker, life is perfect, Matt and Niall are rich and successful, Trevor is cute and feisty. It was hot and sexy, but I really didn't think most guys (or women for that matter) are that self-aware. It's also part of a series which would explain all the friend pairings in the story, but you can read it without. If insta-love, fated soul-mates and talky guys don't make you nuts, it's a sexy menage read which was what I was looking for when I picked it up.

First of all, if you're going to write a novel which readers PAY for, you need to at least do your research. The line which did it for me in this story was about xbox video games, where one character, Trevor, asked about the new "Metal of Honour". I'm in no way a video game fan, but I could see the clear mispelling of Medal of Honor. This was just one typo among many. Where was the editor for this book?
This story had potential, but it fell a bit flat and inconsistent. *SPOILER* When the bad guy left a mutilated dog on Trevor's doorstep with a creepy note, wouldn't ANYONE ELSE call the damn police and report it? Not Trevor, he simply puts the body in a garbage bag and drives it over to the vet with his neighbor and no one seems otherwise disturbed.

This is the third book in the Perfect Love series that I've read. This story involves Matt (Logan's psychiatrist from Capturing Perfection) and Trevor (one of Logan's co-workers at the Police lab) and a new character, Niall, a famous photographer. This is a menage story, so for anybody who is opposed to menage, this book isn't for you. Niall is Native American and has a dream about his two perfect soul mates. Then he meets Matt, who is the epitome of one of the men from his dream. He has no idea who the third man is. There are some sprititual elements to this story with Niall's heritage in the Mohegan tribe. And of course, you know that there has to be some angst in the middle of the story. I won't ruin it, but I liked the ending and Trevor's development throughout the story.

This was a sweet story with some fairly serious proofreading errors, including when we finally find out who the bad guy is right at the end calling him two different first names every other time the name is said. I still am not completely sure what the name was, actually...
