Hello! And after buying the house of my dreams, I realized that I did not have enough privacy for some of its large windows. Then I ordered motorized curtains that protect well even from sunlight. Here is an interesting article on the subject of cost https://omwavehome.com/featured/how-m... which has a large selection for such purposes.

Finally a book that really explains the principles of good lighting and the emotions that it can evoke. Being an absolute novice, I was amazed and thrilled with the possibilities this book presented. While the book does present the differences between incandescents, LEDs and halogens, this book is really about where to place lights in various rooms and how to layer different light sources to maximize your lighting options and to create various moods throughout the day and night. Certainly much of what is presented is way over the top compared to what a common residential home will have available, but the book presents opportunities and teaches good lighting design. The book does address how to improve lighting in existing structures where access to run new wiring is limited. If you are remodeling or building a new house, this book is a must.
