About the author

Author, lecturer and film-maker, Lynn A. Marzulli is an evangelical Christian who travels the United States lecturing on—as his blog title proclaims—"politics, prophecy and the supernatural".

Among the eight novels he has published, the Nephilim trilogy made the Christian Booksellers' Association best-seller list. He has an e-magazine and frequently speaks on TV, radio and internet radio.

Awesome book, Incredible story line! First I want to say if your not a christian why would you reach for a christian fiction book to just bash it because it's too religious?? lol You knew when you picked it up you would be presented with the gospel ect. ANYWAY, I devoured this book and it kept me up late as I could hardly put it down. Fast paced, heart pounding suspense that will suck you right in.... I LOVED it! I cannot wait to read the next two books.

This book was like Left Behind meets the X-Files. An interesting blend of Alien abduction and spiritual warfare. There were times where you could tell by the writing that this was a debut novel, but still well worth the read.

Thrilling, action packed and addicting! Amazing read from page one until the end. Draws a line through what you think and what you beileve. Fell in love with this author due to this book. Easy read full of action, horror, mystery, suspense, love and humor. I am dying to get ahold of the next in the series. Fantastic job Lynn Marzulli. You have me completely addicted. This book is a must read and will totally throw you around. Fantastically written and obsessivly addicting!!! Must order book two!!!!

Are there UFO's and alien life? This is the question put to Arthur MacKenzie when he is taken to an underground site where he sees little grey men working. Sensing evil, Mac manages to escape and realizes he has uncovered something very evil. When he finds Uri and Elijah, two Israelis who are grandfather and grandson, Eli tries to tll him that this is demonic and to beware. As he delves further into the phenomina, Mac is finding out that there is something very wrong in the world.Recommended

Apparently, this sat unread on my shelf for the past 15 years, because I didn't recognize anything about it (I know it's 15 years old, but when I've reread any of the other books from my CBA shelf, they've been familiar to me, even if I didn't remember the details). I wonder what stopped me.

Anyway, reading it now, I wasn't as impressed as I might have been then. OTOH, even then, I was tired of the CBA trope that all scifi has to tie in to the End Times. But it was well written, with an engaging story. If you haven't tired of the trope, and you enjoy an x-filish conspiracy, you'll probably enjoy it more tham I did.

Interesting title, but so far (40 pages) is not very promising

2/3 along ... the theme is very interesting, but too light and easy. While the ever going debate about nephilim is there (fallen angels vs aliens) the thriller is too linear to make it thrilling. Oh, by the way, it campaign the "kinda" christian / bible view of the nephilim

This is a fictional work that is the first book in his Trilogy, The Nephilim Trilogy. Book two is, The Unholy Deception, and book three is The Revealing. All three books take you on a wild goose chase
of unexpected adventures. I highly recommend this series and challenge the reader to read these books.

writing wise, this book is really elementary so if it weren’t for the actual content behind the story I really would not have given it 4 stars. but knowing how rare it is to find this perspective on fallen angels from a biblical standpoint and how they may appear in today’s timeline was worth the 4 stars.

While working on a story about a hospital that deals with difficult cases, Art 'Mac" Mackenzie, a frustrated reporter begins an adventure that will shake him up. Mac, who is dealing with the death of his estranged father and a recent divorced man is soon contacted by the mysterious Gen. Nathan Roswell. Mac receives an envelop and an artifact from Nathan who directs him to Israel. In Israel he meets with the duo of Elisha and Uri (grandfather and grandson). The book picks up here and soon Mac is involved in fending off a sinister group of men, religious battles, a rebirth of his faith, dealing with a government cover-up of alien abductions, rescuing his family, and facing demons and nephilim. Throughout the book, Mac raises questions about his faith and reclaims his relationship with the Lord. He does elude/escape the plots of a sinister covert group and uncovers an evil inter-worldly plot. The best aspect of Mac is that he becomes a spiritual warrior and relies on the leading of angelic guides and the Word of God. The book itself moves at a break-neck speed and is solidly constructed. This is a fantastic Christian fantasy novel.

The books gripped me as soon as I started reading. I love the different story lines and how they all came together. After each book, I was dying to get the next. It's a good thing I didn't discover them until after they were all written. Great characterizations. Excellent and reasonable explanations of each premise. A thrill ride for sure! Too bad there isn't a 4th or 5th book! This is one series I could read over and over.

Fast-paced, intriguing novel about Nephilim/Aliens/Demons. This is the first novel in a 3-series of novels. The theology in this book is sound, except for one place dealing with the Abyss. An octupus-like thing grabbed demons to bring them into the Abyss, and then proceeded to try and take a Christian. I don't think this is Biblical. Christians would not be taken into the Abyss. Would make a great movie!

This was a very interesting book to read. I would never have thought of aliens as demons, was an interesting theory. It wasn't the best writing to me, but the alien theory kept me in it. I won't be reading any of the rest of this series. To me the battle between good and evil was weak compared to what I've read in other Christian authors novels.
