Terran Trade Authority

The Terran Trade Authority Roleplaying Game

Rate this book
The Terran Trade Authority RPG brings to life the exciting and engaging SciFi universe made famous by Stewart Cowley in his classic series of pictorial books that began in 1978 with Spacecraft 2000 to 2100 AD. This classic series has been resurrected with a brand new series of TTA handbooks including this, the TTA RPG. At long last fans of the series can explore the exotic worlds of the TTA universe from the war ravaged surface of Proxima I to the ocean planet of Alpha B3. Keep the law as a FLEA Agent, discover new opportunites in fledgling interstellar colonies or open new trade routes for luxury goods from Alpha Centauri ? the choice is yours. The Terran Trade Authority RPG is a stand-alone game that uses the Omni System mechanics (no other book is required to play). Only a single twenty-sided dice is required to play.

When I found this existed, I had to get a copy to read. It's been decades since a young boy was given one of the TTA art books but I never forgot it. As a game, I can't speak to it -- after so many RPG sourcebooks, the game mechanics blend together. As an exploration of the particular world background of the TTA setting, I found it enjoyable and coherent and I enjoyed revisiting that particular imaginary world.
