One winner out of three

The first story, NOBLE SAVAGES, by David Drake is well worth reading. The rest is, in my opinion, long, wordy, often illogical and generally boring.

Mr. Drake's story has action, duplicity, intrigue and sharp jabs to the noble savage mythos. Politically correct it isn't.

The initial short story by David Drake was OK, but the other two stories slid below my acceptable line... Too cartoon-ish. Whiz BLAM! Plus Snarky I can handle fine, but it needs to be at a higher level, not read like tweens role-playing! DNF the second two stories.
