This is the first Frommer's Day by Day guides that I have read and I found it to be exactly the kind of travel guide I needed to plan a road trip.
It breaks California into several areas and gives itinerary's for daily or weekly trips and trips for nature loves and adventure seekers. LA, San Fran and San Diego each get their own sections.
I have been to California almost every year in the last 15 and they didn't miss suggesting any of my favorite attractions. I'll be taking it along on the next trip so I can check out a few new sites.
