This is a wonderful anthology of women's writings from China. Julia Lin has chosen a selection that provides a broad view of poetry and poets from contemporary China. The book was published in 1992 but is still a valuable resource showing the range of work and how women poets of China have viewed themselves and their culture. For anyone interested in contemporary Chinese poetry, this is a lovely collection. My only regret is that it was not published bilingually in Chinese and English.
