I don't care what the book is, my nephew loves with book with fold-out flaps. They also have read foil on each page. This was a hit with the kids. They know George and the holiday.

This is a young children's book. It is written in the style of H. A. Rey by A Di Angelo. It's a simple story about friends helping George get ready for valentine's.

The reason I read this story is because of the fold out flaps! February is filled with special dates like Valentine’s Day and who gets tired of that? I love to hear stories about friendship mixed with monkey business. Curious George’s Valentine’s day card is too precious & it is nice to see children clean up after they create a mess.

I'm usually uncomfortable with remakes of classic children's books when the original authors/illustrators are not involved. But, this is one of the few new Valentine's Day books at my library this year so I thought I would check it out.

Now, I must say that I haven't read a Curious George book since I was a kid so I am probably not the best judge of whether this is really in keeping with the spirit of the original books. As a stand-alone, I thought it was just okay. Curious George has a bunch of (human kids) friends over and they make valentines and have a Valentine's Day party. Curious George makes a bit of mischief, of course. I think the most fun aspect of the book is the lift-the-flap format that little ones will probably really enjoy.

This was one of my son's favorite Valentine's day book this year. I guess him being a fan of Curious George also plays a role in him him loving this book so much.

This book is actually shorter than some of the other Curious George books that I have read. It does have inside flaps that reveals another part of the story. George isn't as curious in this book as he is in other books which is a good thing for me and it didn't take away from the story either.

Curious George has all his friends over for a Valentine’s Day Party…but when The Man in the Yellow Hat leaves an empty box around, George is very curious about what he can make with it! Just how much mischief can a curious little monkey get into when balloons, frosting, and glitter are involved? The always loveable monkey is at in again in this adorable Valentines story, complete with a fold out hidden picture on every page. Read more at www.diapers-and-daydreams.com

This book is nice for the flaps and illustrations. There are lots of different ideas to point out with parties, balloons, and crafts. Curious George is fun too. I think the story line is lacking from the books by H.A. Rey.

The lift the flaps were fun. I liked how everything red had the red foil look. But the story itself was kinda lame. Kids will probably like it because it's curious george

Very cute book the kids in my class really enjoyed it. Also not too long and doesn't have too much text so the kids actually stay interested.

The flaps were fun, but the story is flat. Probably the least entertaining Curious George book we've read.

My toddler chose this at the library and liked it. I normally don't like re-writes of classic characters but this one was a nice read.

George and the man with the yellow hat are having a Valentine Day’s party and all the neighborhood kids are invited. Excitement is in the air! With the fashion of Rey books, there’s lots of activity on each page as George has fun with the neighbor children. Balloons, cookies, decorations, and a good time for everyone. Colorful illustrations adorn each page. The left-hand side of each two-page spread is folded in so after reading the page, you fold out that flap to reveal more of the story which usually adds some surprise to the story. My grandchildren loved opening these corner pieces and I thought it made the book special. A fun story 5 stars

This is another book in our small Valentine's Day book collection. I like it because it is Valentine's themed but actually sticks to the traditional Curious George format: George sets out to behave himself but then gets distracted by something that makes him curious and causes a little bit of mischief.

This gentle story has fold-out pages and red-foil accents. It's not terribly memorable, but it is a gentle story that captures a bit of the fun-loving spirit and penciled illustration style of the classic series.

I appreciate that the illustrations were done in the original style. The story is cute, and who doesn’t love Curious George? The ending is a little lackluster, but the book is still enjoyable overall.

The kids and I enjoyed this book to the flaps and that this book went in order. It followed a timeline of what George needed to do for Valentines Day. The visuals on the page were nice for me and the kids to look at together.

This is a fun little book perfect for read aloud time with young children! The fold out flaps are a wonderful way to make this story more interactive. I think children will really enjoy this story especially if they like monkeys, decorating, and surprises!
