This book was quite insightful about everything that had to happen before the movie was filmed

I really enjoyed reading this book in order to get a new perspective on how this popular book series came to life in movie format. The author details different points in the movie making process on how exactly they went about bringing scenes to life. Students who do not typically favor nonfiction literature may really enjoy this book. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and so I loved reading this book multiple times. I have heard others complain about this book because it “ruins the magic”. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves the Harry Potter series and is not worried about ruining the “magic”. Also people who love the filmmaking industry may enjoy reading this book as well. I would definitely have this book available in my class because this has been one of my favorite nonfiction books and I think others may also enjoy learning about this topic.

Tells a little about the making of each movie but doesn't tell all the details. The writers got interview comments from the cast and wrote it in such a way as to be understood by a child. Good basic learning about some of the making of the films.
