This little book is much denser and more heavily researched than I anticipated. It is packed with fascinating information. More than just showing how Star Wars was influenced by Hinduism, it takes beliefs and experiences from Eastern philosophy and shows how both Star Wars and Hinduism support them. It goes into tremendous depth.

I started this book with a certain level of skepticism and along the way found a few weak justifications and also references to much disliked authors (in the Hindu fraternity) like Wendy Dolinger. On the flip side, I found squeezed in these 200 odd pages, profound wisdom of the Upanishads and Bhagavad Purana and Vaishnavism suited for any aspirant of Hindu studies. Hari Bol.
This one didn't live up to my expectations, but it still had some good info in it! I enjoyed learning more about Vaishnavism...a Hindu religion close to my heart. No regrets on reading it, though--it just could've been a big essay instead of a whole book--it was really dragged out.
