This is a very misleading title. I was expecting to find places to go and find gems and minerals. Not here in Pa or many other states covered. Also this book is copyrighted 2009 so some sites may not be available today.

Book is mostly museum listings, some mine tours, and very few fee dig sites. Very disappointing. If you can find a copy in your local library, by all means take the 5 minutes you will need to see what your state has to offer. Otherwise, not recommended.
