About the author

Dr. David S. Nichols, Ph.D., is an adjunct professor in the School of Professional Psychology at Pacific University (Forest Grove, Oregon), and spent 27 years as a staff clinical psychologist at the Oregon State Hospital. The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) has been the focus of his research and writing for more than 40 years, and he is a Fellow of the Society of Personality Assessment.
