. I was informed of a book that was developed by three friends who happen to all write for the same publisher and was intrigued. Lisa Pietsch, K.F. Zuzulo and Heather Long did not stop at collaborating on a story together. They created the world and circumstances the characters lived in, but wrote stories about characters who were connected by family ties. Each story is separate but flows together using time line and a dreadful situation. These ladies came together to create a unique anthology b ...more

Well, it's a book I wrote, so I'll share the synopsis with you....

At the New England New Age (NENA) Investigations, no case is too weird. The paranormal detective agency relies on the familial talents of siblings Duncan and Samantha MacDougal and their cousin Tara Conroy. While Duncan and Samantha tend to the field work, Tara mans the office tapping sources in both the physical and spirit world. Fate takes a hand when a killer named Jeffrey Wiles begins a death-dealing spree that puts the lives

First of all, let me say that this type of paranormal is not my forte. I’m not familiar with ghost busting, aura reading or auto-writing and at times during my reading I had to re-read passages for clarity and then I still didn’t get it. If this is your cup o’ tea, you’re gonna’ love this one!

FROZEN HELL by Lisa Pietsch
When I started reading this one -- UH OH -- What did I get myself into here? It is very gruesome and I didn’t know if I wanted to continue, but it is central to the storyline and

I loved this book. They we able to seamlessly blend the stories together, and keep each story exciting. Too often in anthologies, I find that one or two stories stick out more than the others. Definitely not the case with this one! The book never lost steam and kept the reader engaged even when the author/character changed. Overall, a great read and I highly recommend!

This is a series of good solid stories. The authors are similar enough in style that the tales really read as if written by a single person, instead of 3 different people. This is wonderful compared to the jarring contrasts that can be found when authors that are too different in style come together on a project. The villain was scary enough, with the body jumping and soul munching, to help keep the readers attention through all 3 stories. The family is different enough to be intriguing. I would ...more

A shared world story containing 3 paranormal romances. I picked it up because I've read other Lisa Pietsch stories and really like her stuff. Now I have 2 more authors to add to my potential reading list. All three stories are great, complete with ghosts, shamans, psychics with various tallents and a truly NASTY villain.
Saying anything more might be viewed as a spoiler, but trust me. If you're a fan of the genre, you'll find something here thaqt you like.
