Insightful information on what happens in this periode of life with your partner - and yourself.
It help immensly to feel prepared and ready for the next steps.
And all over all is Marks style of writting a fantastic way to make that big topic easy to digest. Not only once it was planting a smile on my face while ready, even sometimes a big laughter.
Great book that every upcoming father should enjoy reading.

Useful and a barrel of laughs.

Not only was this an extremely informative book, it was also easy going. Never did it feel like a chore or another task to tick off the baby list. It was like sitting down with a mate (the one who has a whole wall dedicated to his extensive DVD collection), whose been through the pregnancy wars and done it, and are now having really useful chat. Plus by putting some of the stuff into practice I scored quite a few husband points along the way too.

I'll be recommending

Excellent book, full of firsthand insight for new Dads. Having flicked through a few books on the topic aimed specifically at men, this is one of the few that (thankfully) dispenses with a lot of the patronising, laddy garbage you encounter in other examples.

This was the perfect companion to a quite eye opening 9 months. It is quite incredible how little I knew about the pregnancy process before picking up this book. The month by month style of the book really helps to break the information down nicely in order to retain the important bits and the authors humorous writing style ensures reading it is a pleasurable experience.

I'd thoroughly recommend this book to all new dads as a starting point to supporting your wife through 10 tough months. The lit

I liked this quite a lot. I got it from the library for Ross and ended up finishing it in one setting. It may say something about my detachment that I found it easier to relate to a book for dads than one for mums. Poor child.

A Dads perspective on what to expect throughout the months of pregnancy and how baby and Mum are progressing. It's given some reassurance and insight into the most wonderful and scary experience a new family can expect.

With baby imminent we shall see whether it's helped!

Must read for any body who has kids, planning to have kids or who wants a lot of laughs. I don't have kids, and no plans too have them. But I loved this book.
It gives a brilliant perspective from a man's point of view.

Brilliant. Whether your an expectant mum or an expecting dad, this is worth a read. Very informative without being over-bearing and, at points, laugh out loud funny.
