This books was a good read as I was moving to a place where the grass and hay were unfamiliar. If you can't get a copy of Storey's Guide to Feeding Horses, this is a solid second. It's a great reference to have in your equine library. Most public libraries don't seem to carry it, so it might be available used from a book purveyor.
