For the completist. This book catalogs a large private collection, so there's a lot of thangkas that aren't in general circulation or on the online archives. The explanations are straightforward but complicated by the fact that Tibetan mythology is complicated, with a lot of difficult names and attributes. I would say most of the art is only of low to medium quality, but the book contains quite a large collection and there are a few gems.
