Mini House Now

by Agata Losantos

As the success of MINI HOUSE proved, bigger is not necessarily better, certainly not where your home is concerned. MINI HOUSE NOW demonstrates this point, showcasing dozens of homes that ingeniously make the most out of a small amount of space. For anyone living in or building small–scale home, this is the perfect source of inspiration.

very thought provoking

Mini House Now is heavy on pictures and light on strategies for minimizing your own house. If you understand that and are looking for ideas for your own remodel/build, or just like small house porn (because honestly, none of these are both "tiny" and full-time "houses"), you'll like this book. Minus points for bad editing and some poor-quality photos. Overall, it was worth a dollar at the library book sale, and I think the Starbucks barista/interior design student will enjoy that I left it for him to peruse.

Ditto my review of her earlier book:
most are not photographed from many angles or with helpful inside space-use pix. Lloyd Kahn's books (Tiny Homes, and Tiny Homes on the Move) give much better insight to how the houses become HOMES.
Most of the homes are devoid of furniture - no one lives in them. If this were the first small home book I'd seen, I might get the impression that they are impractical as no one has been found who wants to live in them...
