Maybe a good informative read on nutrition at one time, but oh-so outdated now. The author may be right on much of this topic, but the book quickly turns into a gripe fest (don’t get me wrong - this made me laugh at times too!). When it comes to food and nutrition, I enjoy Michael Pollen much more. Next time, I’d choose something newer.
In 1980 this was one of the few books that preached nutrition for everyday considerations. Pooh-poohed all the cholesterol warnings at the time. Being interesting to see how dated it is now.
