Reluctant to go to sleep, a little rabbit imagines many frights and discomforts to delay the inevitable. His mother patiently answers his questions and soothes his fears until he eventually falls asleep despite himself. Some of the exchanges are humorous and others sweet. It has very cute drawings and a good rhythm for reading aloud. I am surprised it isn't better known.
My edition was quite small and had a blue cover with details that glowed in the dark.
this was my favorite book when i was a child. i lost my copy ages ago, which was heartbreaking. i was lucky enough to find a used copy that didn't cost an arm and a leg. it sits on my bedside table so i can read it before sleep on those stressful days! <3
