What is Lightbody? is a cozy, optimistic, and sporadically gorgeous little book of New Age babble. With its extreme specificity and (unwarranted?) confidence, the book it reminded me of the most among my recent reads was The Legend of the Ten Elemental Masters; it doesn't quite reach those fantastical heights but it's a worthwhile and very easy read.
Most readers will find the first half more enjoyable than the second.

"What is a Lightbody" is a channeled book that gives information about our literal transition into a light filled body.....say what? Well, if you picked up this book you already know what I'm talking about and don't need an explanation about ascension. What I loved about this material is that it is clear, engaging and informational. There are twelve levels of transition into the lightbody and each level is given an explanation along with physical, emotional and spiritual repercussions for the person experiencing it. Very helpful! Archangel Ariel explains that we have gone through this process many times before and that if you are here you are choosing to ascend. Knowing what is happening and what symptoms occur in the physical body brings about a calm knowing instead a fear based response. Thank you for such a wonderful book!

This book started out as a slow read. While it dwelved into the concept of lightbody using such terms as lightbody, Christ Oversoul, and Oversouls, my progress was slowed having to read such terms based on its use in context to understand. I assume that the authors prior works may go into detail with the terms, however, midway through the book, as the author starts to explain the symptoms of ascension through each of the twelve levels, the book gets better and better. Physical symptoms such as headaches, tiredness, numbness are explained as it pertains to ascension. I began to relate more and more having experienced what she described. Not only are physical symptoms described, but the reactions of people who are not ascending as rapidly as you are are explored giving one a sense of relief if they had no prior understanding. The Golden Nuggets of the book are the Invocations and suggestions used to soothe if not eliminate the symptoms that the author discusses. If this book "falls off the shelf" for you, meaning that it sparks a curiousity within you that causes someone to recommend it to you or come into your possession and you are most like a 'lightworker' in lightbody and, in that case, this book is a must read.

I found this book very interesting. I find myself extremely skeptical of channeled works, but I did enjoy reading this one. Much of it did resonate with me, but I am still deciding what I think of it overall.

I understand why I was guided to this book at this particular time. Very interesting information, some of it confirms my own personal theories and experiences, some of it was new and educational. A book that all lightworkers should read. A little rambling at times, but you can tell that these are channeled messages from a while ago. If you can ignore that fact, there is a lot to take away from it.

A great book for anyone on a spiritual path needing advice on how to recognise and manage ascension symptoms. It has some lovely invocations in the back which I'm sure I will be referring to and using on a regular basis. Like a lot of spiritual books you have to take from it the things that support your own path and not worry about the things that don't. I will be referring to this book as I need to on my own journey.

This book is not for everyone. If you are not interested in metaphysical concepts of ascension, you might as well skip this one. But, for those who are, there is some great information about the light body (glorified body as the Bible calls it) that you probably won't find in other books.
