When I first picked up this book I was thrilled with the information it contained. But I've since found that it really helps to have a teacher or mentor who can help teach you the various techniques (leaving the body, scrying, using a pendulum, working with the aura, etc.). I understood the book much more once I began clairvoyant training. The information in the book is good, but I found it difficult to apply/try the exercises as a complete novice working alone.

Overall a very good book. I'm a pretty rabid feminist, but the anti-patriarchy diatribes get a little tiresome after a while (patriarchy is why we've dismissed everything psychic, in case you didn't know /sarcasm). There's a lot of unverified personal gnosis, which is to be expected. And Diane, as always, is a fairly engaging writer.
