Clouds. We all know what they are —or do we? How many of us can identify them, or explain how they appear and why they change so frequently? This spectacular book provides not only a visual testament to the beauty of clouds, but also gives fascinating information about the ever-changing world above us. From delicate cumulus clouds that add beauty to a summer day, to towering storm cells, glowing irridescents, unearthly aurora borealis and terrifying funnels, the sky is a place of endless change.

As you turn the pages, you will see many cloud formations that you recognize. But you will find others that you will rarely, if ever, see. And you will learn how clouds form, why they change and how you can use them to forecast changes in the weather.

But mostly you will use it for a visual feast, a tribute to the ever-shifting, captivating skyscape just a few miles ahead.

This is an informative book with helpful and beautiful photos. Although several formations are similar unto frustration, it is an enlightening read nonetheless. I'm definitely keeping my copy as a reference!
