Jungle Animals

Rate this book
A mini book with major creature-feature fun! A menagerie of friendly jungle animals turns bright and multihued in a child-pleasing interactive board book. All the beasts and birds are making their way through the lush landscape towards the water hole. What color could each one be—the lion, tiger, elephant, parrot, and flamingo? A pull of the tab reveals the brilliant shades of lovely yellow, beautiful black-and-orange stripes, gentle gray, radiant red and green, and perfect pink. Every page is pure magic.

This was her first book she actually picked out for herself on the shelves of our local second-hand children's shop a couple years ago.
We were shopping for holiday dresses and/or outfits. At first she was minding her own business in the toy area. Then she came up to me - just an isle away and said, "Can we buy this cute lion book?" Did I mention that she also LOVES lions? :o)
To this day - we reminisce and read the book together - pulling out the tabs and coloring all of the Jungle Animals.
It's great a great first book -- plus great to start to learning to recognize animals and colors, as well.

Lo trajeron los reyes. Al principio es un efecto mágico, hasta que descubrís el secreto. No sé si para un chico será mágico siempre, o le llamará la atención tanto como un televisor, una mariposa, el agua o cualquier cosa.
