I liked some parts of the book, but not others. There's some interesting trivia, and the insults can be funny at times. I didn't like the book overall because it portrays the Irish as hard-drinking ejeets. I know it is meant to be a humorous collection, but the humor is sometimes too crude for me. I like a lot of the proverbs. They are my favorite part of the book.

What I liked about this book:

I learned some new slang, interesting insults, tons of factoids and Irish proverbs.

What I didn't like about this book:

Any mention of Bono, I really hate that guy. He needs to shut his gob because everything that comes out of it is pure shite.

Another reminder that Danny O'Donnell is an actual thing. That guy makes Pat Boone--a purified piss drinker-- look like a street thug.
